Sage Doll-making Workshop

Insights and Overview

Having policies in place doesn't automatically create genuine acceptance or understanding of our differences. Even with a strong desire to value and respect everyone, overcoming misunderstanding and fostering true acceptance can be difficult.

In the We Are All The Same Inside Sage doll-making participants experience a powerful shift in perspective. They encounter Sage, a friendly character from another world, who, despite looking different, shares the same fundamental human inner workings. Then, they personalize their Sage doll, creating an outer appearance that reflects their own unique vision.

This program reinforces the idea that our outward differences don't diminish our shared inner humanity. It highlights the core of who we are, the essential qualities that unite us all.

Timothy Bellavia offers this program in two formats: a personal visit or a convenient, self-contained kit. While his presence adds a unique and inspiring dimension, bringing the workshop to life, trained educators can also deliver the program effectively. The workshop has expanded access through remote synchronized and online interactions, allowing for continued connection and sharing even after remote implementation.
